Carter Biese - Minor League Moto

Carter Biese is a professional supercross and motocross racer. In addition to investing countless hours in his training program, he is passionate about sharing his knowledge of the sport with other enthusiasts. What better way to accomplish this than by creating his own training company, Minor League Moto.

Carter owned a PW Yamaha motorcycle before his parents even knew if he would want to ride one. What began as a toddler’s love of a vast collection of diecast motorcycles, grew to hours watching tapes and racing on TV. Not one to enjoy the sport solely from the couch, Carter took to riding at the age of 4 and had his first gate-drop when he was 5.

Growing up in Appleton, WI, Carter spent most of his youth riding on weekends and during school breaks. He mostly raced at local tracks until he qualified for the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championship at the age of 7. From here on, he was bitten by the “national bug”. Carter’s younger brother, Jordan, joined in the fun (also starting at age 5). The family committed the better part of the next 15 years racing the amateur national motocross circuit throughout the US. Carter proudly banked over 50 national podiums and 10 national titles. He was proud to represent Team USA as a 65cc rider in 2014 at the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship held in Lierneux, Belgium. Collectively, the team results brought home the championship for the USA. In addition to this honor, he had the highlight of his amateur career by winning the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship title in 2017 in the 125 B/C 12-16 class. As a youth, he was on Orange Brigade and was a fill-in rider for BarX factory Suzuki.

Following his amateur career, Carter made his pro debut in 2022 in the Pro Motocross Championship. Besides one mechanical, Carter qualified for every national he attended. Gaining experience from the 2022 outdoors, Carter gained a ride to race the General Tire Arenacross Championship for the 2022-2023 season. Finishing with several event podiums, he finished 4th overall in the series standings. In 2024, Carter is competing in the West Coast Supercross Series.

Always looking to better his racing craft, Carter worked with several trainers and facilities throughout his 17 years in the sport. Whether it was training with Arenacross champion, Chad Johnson, or going to Byron, IL to be coached by Brad Jerominski, Carter was no stranger to learning more. He visited some of the top facilities in the nation, including ClubMX, Club57, GPF, SSR, and South of the Border. As much as this benefited him personally, all this knowledge helped him take the bits and pieces he liked from each facility to build his own training program. Whether you’re a novice just learning how to ride a motorcycle, or you’re pursuing a professional career, there’s valuable insight to be gained.

Carter’s vast knowledge goes beyond simply riding a dirt bike. Unfortunately, injury is a big part of the sport. He has sustained some significant injuries that have sidelined him for extended periods. Beyond the injury and recovery themselves,  Carter has learned valuable tools to better navigate this process. He has met and learned from some of the best doctors, trainers, nutritionists, and athletes around to recover faster and mitigate future injuries. The mental aspect of the sport can be even more important than the techniques for riding the bike. He’s truly a student of the sport, anything that can help in improve on the race track, Carter is learning about. Though he is only 22, he has a lifetime's worth of knowledge he’s eager to share with the rest of the sport.

Carter is excited to help you strengthen your program and reach your personal goals. Join Carter and Minor League Moto at some of his upcoming sessions - “Let’s Go!”
